{Urban Meets Rustic Bathroom Reno}

Our little yellow house, as I love to call it, has soaked up almost 10 years of blood, sweat & tears as we worked to turn this house into our home. I’ve seen (and so have you) my taste in design grow and evolve as we outgrew striped walls, blue walls, red walls and unpainted…

{Ikea Hack: Hemnes Bed Frame}

So many people I know have the Hemnes bed frame from Ikea. I think it’s popular because of it’s clean lines and simplicity, but it lacks the comfort factor that many other bed frames and headboards can add to your bedroom and the bed itself. I decided to finally upgrade to a plush headboard that…

{How to Create a Minimalist Office in a Small Space}

Operation “Move the Office” is complete! I have to admit I’m pretty darn impressed with how fast this happened. I was feeling pretty nervous that the whole cleaning it out and selling the furniture and buying new furniture and just getting it done would be a long drawn out process. Especially with wedding season starting…

{Room Reveal}

Guys, I’m finally posting my summer project, the finished look of our great room.  Back in July I painted over the blue walls, installed the DIY board & batten wall, completely re-designed the entry way with new furniture and some little upgrades like this one (plus, an ikea hack coming your way soon), and picked…
